The first step of that cycle to many homeowners is to employ holiday lights builders. You make a call, place an order and the set-up is performed by another person. No scrambling, no unweaving, no rushing to the stores to buy new bulbs. It is not hard and quite on the contrary, it works.
But that is a long way, too.
You have a schedule yet. Date of installation, date of removal, service in case of a breakdown. It is convenient, though not totally hand-off in the long-term. You remain a part of the process, only in a different fashion.

It has some sort of beauty to it, although it may be a bit messy. But, where it is a matter of being really relaxed, i.e., of having no stress, no time, no re-work, then this new method is hard to ignore.
It makes what would take hours just a few seconds. And after you become accustomed to that it seems the natural course of action.
